The WYSIWYG and generic EGA and VGA display modes are available
on all 256K EGA and VGA displays. To obtain any of the
additional extended screen displays, the appropriate display card
must be used.
Make sure the dip switches on the video card are correctly set
for a higher resolution mode, and the monitor can handle high
resolution graphics, as various screen display problems may
occur. Usually, some type of software setup or testing program
is included with the video card, and should be run to determine
the possible screen display modes of the video adapter with the
monitor.
If your video adapter is not on this list, check for possible
compatibility with one of the listed cards in the documentation
that came with the video card, or call the video card
manufacturer.
